With the Priva Academy, we offer knowledge and courses in the field of horticulture. By working together with other parties, we are adding even more horticulture-related knowledge as well as expanding the range of courses we offer. We are therefore pleased to announce that the first agreement with HortiTech has recently been officially signed. The first, brand new course is expected to be available this summer.

Rob Schoones, Priva Academy: “By collaborating with other expert parties, we are able to share more valuable knowledge with our users. This way, we ultimately help them to get the best out of every aspect of their business.” HortiTech’s courses to be included in the Priva Academy focus on various topics, such as cultivation and irrigation strategies, planning, maintenance and labor. These courses are particularly relevant to employees of horticultural companies.
The new courses complement the Priva Academy’s current offerings. “Priva Academy users employed by a horticultural company, automatically receive access to the Academy shop where courses are accessible in exchange for a small fee,” says Rob. “Once a course is purchased, it is added to your personal course catalog.”
HortiTech focuses on developing and sharing knowledge. Pim van Adrichem, HortiTech: “We do this by, on the one hand setting up and conducting research, and on the other by developing and offering training to a worldwide audience with a focus on cultivation and technology in practice.”
The market for specific, practical horticultural knowledge is large and the audience is located worldwide. “We believe in collaborating with strong parties in order to jointly fulfill the demand for knowledge. Together with the Priva Academy, we can introduce horticulture-specific courses to a large audience, enabling them to further expand their knowledge,” said Van Adrichem.
